Heart of a Champion - 8th Graders

Attention parents! Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is hosting its 3rd annual
Heart of a Champion Day on May 3rd. Heart of a Champion Day is a free, sports-specific health screening for student-athletes entering grades 9 through 12. At this event, student-athletes will receive a free sports physical, including a heart screen. This heart screening increases the chance of detecting a heart problem that could affect the ability to safely participate in sports. Heart of a Champion Day will be held at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist West Park Orthopaedics, in North Wilkesboro, on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00am-noon. For additional information and to sign up please look for the posters around school or talk with the high school athletic trainer.
